The Investigational Drug Service stores, dispenses, labels, and distributes study medications. All research involving inpatient medication studies and for outpatient medication studies that involve non-FDA approved medications must use the Investigational Drug Service. This review is concurrent with the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee review.
